From Laurel DeLoria: In the early 1980's the parish had 1200 families, five masses upstairs and a mass in the basement of the church. There were 25 active committees including the Peacemakers. The Peacemakers goal was to "plan and implement parish educational events around the theme of global peace." We had monthly meetings, invited speakers as well as wrote, edited and distributed a monthly peace newsletter. Read more
